Sea trials
Take the helm before you decide
There is only one way to choose a Northwind: take the helm.
Tell us which model is calling and your nearest dealership will arrange a private sea trial on your water, on your schedule — not a ten-minute lap of the marina basin with three other buyers waiting on the dock.
Plan on two hours. Bring whoever will actually be aboard on a Saturday in August. Your dealer will run her up to cruise, hold her there long enough for you to hear what the boat sounds like at speed, and then hand you the wheel and stop talking.
Every buyer thinks they are choosing a hull. They are choosing the water they will spend the next ten summers on. Go and stand in it first.
Open water off the Gulf Coast. This is what the sea trial is for.
What to expect
Sixty to ninety minutes on the water with a factory-trained skipper — bring your family, your questions and your favorite anchorage.
Your dealer takes it from there
Premier Pensacola Marine Center, Lakeside Marine Outfitters or Riverbend Marine Supply — whichever is closest becomes your home port for pricing, delivery and five-year warranty care.
Book the boat, not a brochure
Tell us the model and the water you keep her on and we will put the nearest dealer in touch inside one business day. Premier Pensacola Marine Center, Lakeside Marine Outfitters and Riverbend Marine Supply all run factory-trained skippers.
